Clean, spacious and cheap. Exellent location in an area much more relaxed than Khao San but very close. Staff very nice and the atmosphere is very relaxed. There is an area 2 relax at top with a terrace. Its also quiet 2 be in the middle of everything.

We stayed here because the location is great, very close in the Khaosan Roas where you can walk by foot for about 15 mins. The Room are all clean attached with the Bathroom, Hot Shower, Airconditioner, Tv but local channel. Free Wifi and their wifi is Good. However the complaint of so many Farangs. First is the Airconditioner is not cold enough to cool the Room. And the Bathroom is pretty smelly, smell comes from the hole of the bathroom. Otherwise the Hotel is okey. Some Rooms are big some Rooms are NOT. And the Price is a little bit over price for the basic room. But the location of this Hotel is great.

After spending a few hours in their air conditioned lobby while waiting to go to the train station, I realized that the whole family is involved in the running of this hotel. They carried on with their lives despite the fact that I had checked out and was taking up space in their small lobby. They stored our bags for a small fee despite the fact that we had only stayed one night. As well, they had a very friendly and kind housekeeper who went out of her way to answer our questions. After spending two nights at a guest house, we were pleased that we had a cle an air conditioned room with a working toilet. It is a very basic hotel, however, we felt safe and welcomed. We are going to return after our travels in Thailand are complete

We stayed in Suksawad for luckily just one night at the end of our trip around Thailand. The reviews we read prior to staying were relatively positive, so we didn't quite expect what we got. Our room was on the ground floor, and we had no navigate around brushes, bags of concrete and broken fans to get there... See image! The room was dull and tired, and the double bed had a towel-like blanket that barely stretched across the width of the bed. The bathroom was a bit grubby so we made our showers quick. We were slightly surprised to open the curtains and see an indoor garage / repair workshop! The location however wasn't bad - about a 10 minute walk to Khao San Road. Luckily our flight was leaving early the next morning so we didn't actually spend much time there. Not sure we could have managed a second night.

The rooms are indeed very cheap, and if you want to arrive Bangkok with something book than this might be an ok choice. However, once in Bangkok try to find something else. The room is quite dirty, the hotel is very run down, the a/c doesn't always work and the it looks like that the linens were bought from a prison's garage sale. It should be noted, however, that this hotel is very close to the backpackers center of Bangkok - Khao San road.
